Dell PowerConnect 26xx switches provide 10/100/1000-Mbps Gigabit Ethernet connectivity. The switches have the following features:

- 24 ports, including one combination RJ-45/small form factor (SFP) port (PowerConnect 2624)

It provides automatic negotiation for speed and full- and half-duplex mode on all ports, as well as features backpressure flow control in the half duplex operation. The Dell PowerConnect 2616 also supports tag-based prioritization following the IEEE 802.1p standard with two priority queues per port. The switch comes in a 19" rack-mountable and wall-mountable, standard 1U chassis with a comprehensive LED indicator panel to monitor the overall switching condition.
