64bit.eu supplies VMware View Enterprise to Prague 8 elementary school, Palmovka 8

One more forward looking educational institution has taken the desktop virtualisation route. And it is the education system and computers in classrooms which represent a good basis for the deployment of virtual desktops. The high number of pupils and students at the end stations results in extreme demand, maintenance and administration of profiles. The Prague 8 elementary school at Palmovka 8 acquired VMware View 4 in the Enterprise bundle version for its premises.

About the Prague 8 elementary school at Palmovka 8

The school’s School Education Programme has as its goal to forge a positive relationship of pupils to learning, to develop pupils’ character in a rounded manner, to prepare pupils for life in a democratic society in the EU, and to motivate pupils to further learning. We attempt to achieve this goal in various ways, while prioritising construction over transmission, i.e. we do not simply give knowledge to the children, but rather we try to create situations in which pupils themselves can look for and come up with conclusions. We want to do all this in a safe context, in which we aim for a pleasant environment inducing trust between teachers and pupils, a calm work attitude satisfying needs for knowledge, equality of communication between partners etc. We can summarise our aims in our SEP’s name: ‘School = play, fun, knowledge’.
